In order to solve what is known as “just-in-time delivery,” Robert Brunst founded Midwest Specialty Products in 1965. As a sales rep for a regional packaging company, he found his customers constantly facing downtime while waiting on standard scheduled deliveries. In response to this challenge, he began his own company to better serve customers.

This philosophy worked well, and in the years since we have expanded and added new assets and equipment to keep pace with our growing customer base requirements. In 1993, we relocated to our current facilities, which should serve us well into the 21st century.
